I have not visited the museum before, but next time I am in the area I fully intend to.

You have an exciting, informative web site. I'm fascinated by the story of George McJunkin. Some of the info about him on your site is different from that in Franklin Folsom's book. Incidentally, is there a relationship bewteen Franklin's name and the town?

I have visited the museum many times, but not lately, alas. Just want you to know you have an awesome site.
The story of Black Jack is very interesting.
I have not visited the museum, but family have. I enjoyed your site very much. Would like to see some of the exhibits in the museum posted, as well.

I plan to visit the museum in late May.
I understand that you have a picture of Sara Jane Sumptner. She is my great-great grandmother and I would love to be able to see a copy. My brother was at the museum recently and said I look just like her. At the time, he didn't know what the relationship was.
I thoroughly enjoyed the information you have on Black Jack Ketchum. He is a distant relative of ine, and my older brother has an actual original Black Jack wanted poster passed down through generations. Any other information you have would be great.
We are heading your direction the last week of August, we are frequent visitors to New Mexico.
I think Black Jack is a distant relative of my late husband. Any more information on him would be greatly appreciated. Anything on his immediate family in particular.
I would like permission to use the photo of the Folsom point on yoiur web page in a paper that I am writing for a class at UNM, please email me if it is olkay to use. It will not be sold or used for any commercial purpose. Thanks Blake Learmonth.
I found your site as I was searching for some information on the train robber called "Black Jack." My son had told me the story he heard of his hanging and I was surprised to find that it was indeed true and the details behind it. Thanks for the information.

The last time I visited the useum it was closed. I hope to be nearby again about Sept. 19, 2002.
Interesting reading about George McJunkin.

Hi.....this didn't help me really.....
Jill H.
The story of George McJunkin is really cool. Thanks for this site, I'll come back again.....some of it can help me with school.
I have visited the museum before, and am looking forward to my next visit.
I have visited the museum before. My wife's great grandfather lived and ranched in the area.

I am a descendant of the Seovadras you have listed on the Teachers List and the cemetery list. It really should be spelled Saavedra. I also found some of the Padilla family that are my ancestors as well. My mother was born and baptised in St. Joseph's Church.
